* There are allot of misconceptions about Ufology, the biggest is the word UFO. UFO means nothing more than an “unidentified flying object” but because of disinformation, misinformation, and propaganda people thinks it means an alien's space craft. Don’t feel bad if you make that relationship because Even Ufologist fall into it.
* Ufology is researching and investigating unidentified flying objects as well as sightings of extraterrestrial crafts, extraterrestrials, abductions, alien technology, etc!, Etc!. The ironic thing is, this field is called ufology and we go by Ufologists because UFO is the commonly used label for those types of interests thus even we ourselves perpetuate the thing that bugs and haunts us the most, the misconceived label, UFO.
* The next common fallacy is that UFO people and Ufologists are all nuts, stupid, hoaxers, fanatics, it is some kind of cult, and so on. Of coarse there is people who are into UFO's that are nuts, some do create hoaxed stuff, some are stupid, some are fanatics, there is a few who do have cults based on ET's or UFO's, and some who cannot tell fact from Sci-Fi but not as many as you are lead to believe. that is going back to why the word UFO bugs us, it brings out the all kinds of odd balls and allot of those kind of people who do not take the time to get there information straight, which again is why i am writing this blog.
